RELEASE OF FILES TO THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES (03.05.06)
The Security Service has released a further set of 311 historical files to The National Archives, bringing the total number of its records in the public domain to over 3,000. The latest release includes noteworthy files on the future prime minister of Israel, Menachem Begin, folk singer Ewan MacColl, Soviet spy Oliver Green, and the "Red Dean" of Canterbury, Hewlett Johnson.
