EXPECTING THE UNEXPECTED: HELPING BUSINESSES PROTECT THEMSELVES AGAINST TERRORIST AND OTHER THREATS (04.06.03)
The Home Secretary, David Blunkett, has advised all businesses to act swiftly to ensure they have plans in place to deal with the events of different, potentially disastrous events. Launching a new, free CD and booklet, which has been prepared by London First, the London business organisation, in partnership with the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) and the Business Continuity Institute, Mr Blunkett said, "The key message is the importance of planning and communication. We must be vigilant and well prepared. By working together, we can protect ourselves, our livelihoods and our country." (PDF format).
