ABU HAMZA JAILED FOR SEVEN YEARS (08.02.06)
Abu Hamza, a former imam at the North London Central Mosque in Finsbury Park, has been jailed for seven years after being found guilty of encouraging his followers to murder non-Muslims. He was also found guilty of possessing a document likely to be useful to a terrorist. The "Encyclopaedia of Afghani Jihad" contained sections on explosives, handguns and intelligence gathering. It also provided information on carrying out assassinations and forming terrorist units, plus recipes for poisons and instructions on methods of killing.
