For instance, our IT support officers play a significant part in supporting a range of leading-edge initiatives and critical applications in our operations control centre. They diagnose and solve various IT issues, enjoying plenty of responsibility. Alternatively our service desk analysts are the first port of call for customer incidents and requests. Taking calls from colleagues across the whole of MI5 they solve issues personally when they can, or pass them on when necessary.
