MI5 named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2018

Published date: 25 Apr 2018

MI5 has been named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2018 for the third successive year, further affirming our position as a leader in gender equality.

The alphabetical and unranked list celebrates UK employers that are building gender equality into their business strategy and have committed to creating inclusive workplace cultures and improving women's progress at work.

An MI5 spokesperson for diversity and inclusion said:

We're proud to commit to improving gender representation and progression. Our gender initiatives, such as our 'Inspiring Women Leaders' programme and active talent management, have transformed the number of women in senior posts and created female role models at all levels across the full range of work we do.

The Times Top 50 Employers for Women is published in partnership with Business in the Community as part of the charity's Responsible Business Week. The listing involves a comprehensive submission process managed by the Business in the Community gender equality campaign.
