Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI)

CPNI provides integrated protective security advice, covering physical, personnel and cyber security measures, to the businesses and organisations that make up our national infrastructure. The advice CPNI gives helps reduce the vulnerability of the national infrastructure to terrorism, espionage and other threats. 


Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office provides security advice for UK citizens who travel or live abroad.

Get Safe Online

Get Safe Online is a joint initiative between the Government, law enforcement, leading businesses and the public sector. It provides computer users and small businesses with free, independent, user-friendly advice to help them use the internet confidently, safely and securely.


National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)

The NCSC was set up to help protect our critical services from cyber attacks, manage major incidents, and improve the underlying security of the UK Internet through technological improvement and advice to citizens and organisations.


National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO)

Advice on business security measures can be obtained from the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO), a specialist police organisation that works closely with the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI). Dedicated Counter Terrorism Security Advisers (CTSAs) are located in each of the UK's regional police forces. They provide protective and counter terrorism security advice to support businesses and reduce their sites' vulnerability to terrorist threats.
