On this degree apprenticeship, you’ll spend three years building some of the world’s most advanced software tech. Our English language Analysts listen to lawfully intercepted conversations, picking out essential information that will help our investigations. You will analyse telephone conversations and eavesdropping product intercepted under warrant for some of our highest priority investigations.
Our Administrative Officers work across a variety of departments each offering a range of roles providing essential support to our officers. This is an ideal role for a school leaver, people coming back to work after a career break or those looking for a change of career.
The Service Desk Analyst role in MI5 is an excellent opportunity to start your career in IT. You will be integrated into our growing first line support IT team, being the first point of contact for IT related requests from a range of stakeholders.

After seeing the exceptional quality of many apprentices following their training, MI5 are investing in growing their apprenticeship programmes. Initially we will begin offering more apprenticeships in technology, but hope to expand our apprenticeships into other areas including commercial and operational roles, in due course. Applications for our Degree Apprenticeships in London and Greater Manchester are now open for joiners in September 2021.
