Types of jobs

Admin Assistants

Our administration assistants work across a variety of departments each offering a range of roles. Responsibilities include organising meetings and diaries, managing our information and records, booking travel, looking after our visitors, uploading reports, and providing essential support to our officers.

This is an ideal role for a school leaver, people coming back to work after a career break or those looking for a change of career.

Technical Apprenticeship Scheme

Working with MI5, SIS and GCHQ you will learn about – and work with – some of the world’s most cutting-edge technologies that sit at the heart of British intelligence. During the two year scheme you’ll gain a Foundation Degree in Communications, Security and Engineering, and a level 4 Diploma in IT, Software, Web and Telecommunications Competence. The programme will lead to exciting roles within the intelligence agencies.

English Language Analysts

Our English language analysts listen to lawfully intercepted conversations, picking out essential information that will help our investigations. You will analyse telephone conversations and eavesdropping product intercepted under warrant for some of our highest priority investigations. Although the majority of your time will be spent listening to audio material you will also produce reports for our investigative and operational partners.
